In the State of Illinois any person over age 12 is eligible to receive vaccinations. Since December 16, 2020, vaccinations for COVID-19 in suburban Cook County, including Glenview, were being rolled out in phases by the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) based on national guidance. The FDA has granted Emergency Use Authorization of the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines. Insured persons must bring their insurance cards.
Rapid PCR testing is available at the Flick Park Field House testing location (3600 Glenview Road) open seven days a week through December 31, 2021. Additional information on COVID-19 testing, including local site locations can be found on the Cook County Department of Public Health website. Testing is currently available in a variety of places including local pharmacies, IDPH mobile/community-based testing sites, and come primary care providers. All COVID-19 testing and related services must be free of charge to Illinois residents, regardless of insurance or immigration status.
